We are doing something amazing!
Right here in Australia, School Strike 4 Climate events are happening in almost sixty locations this Friday 15th to demand a safe climate future.
Not only that, we will be standing alongside hundreds of thousands of other students striking in a hundred countries around the world.
We are all temporarily sacrificing our education in order to save our futures from dangerous climate change.
We’re asking you and everyone you know to join us in demanding 100% renewable energy, an end to coal and no Adani coal mine.
We have achieved SO much together already. Twenty-three Australian unions have now backed our strike for climate action. Australian people want action on climate change and we are making sure our politicians hear that loud and clear.
Despite being young, despite not being able to vote, we are having a massive impact and people are paying attention to us. Politicians are begging to meet with us. The media don’t stop ringing.
As young Australians we have a massive opportunity to put the issue of climate change front and centre of politics over the next few months in the lead up to the federal election.
By thousands of us striking this Friday 15th, we’re letting our politicians know that we won’t let them continue to put our future at risk.

Let’s hope that this is a start of a sustained campaign that won’t end before the issue is being solved.
